The CRAP I learned at Design School – and how you can make use of it

CRAP stands for Contrast, Repetition, Alignment and Proximity. With these four principles in mind you can create good design.

Contrast

Contrast is one element which makes your design ‘pop’, the thing that catches your eye. Contrast can be used to guide the eyes to parts of the page, and prioritise the importance of page content.
